TRANSFORMATION COMPETITORS
Suits | Posing | Judging Criteria
Suit Requirements:
No branding is acceptable, unless the logo of the company that made the suit.

Participants in the Transformation division are invited to wear a suit that makes them most comfortable. This is a time to share your journey. If you feel best in shorts and a tank top, that is fine.
- All attire must be appropriate and family friendly. Traditional bodybuilding competition suits are welcome and must follow the requirements of the division the suit would traditionally be worn.
- Thongs ARE NOT permitted.
Shoe Requirements:

Participants in the Transformation division are invited to wear a suit that makes them most comfortable. This is a time to share your journey. If you feel best in tennis shoes, flips flops, competition heels, or barefoot, all are permitted.
General Appearance Requirements:

Jewelry is allowed and must be tasteful.

For participants who are wearing traditional competition suits or are showing a significant amount of skin, tanning is necessary. Skin treatments should be natural looking and healthy tanned. (ProTan or a color on the same basis is preferred.)

*The head judge determines if an athlete's clothing and appearance meets the expectation of standard, taste, and decency set forth by the Mid-Atlantic Bodybuilding Association. Athletes who do not comply with these expectations may not be allowed to compete in the event.
Part One
Before and After
Participants will need to submit a before and after photo via email to Mid-Atlantic Bodybuilding Association at least one week before the show. These images will be displayed at the beginning of your time on stage.
Part Two
Story
Participants will need to submit a short synopsis of their journey via email to Mid-Atlantic Bodybuilding Association at least one week before the show. This can include where you started your journey, what inspired you to begin, struggles you may have faced along the way, and where you are now. Your story will be read at the beginning of your time on stage while your before and after images are shown.
Part Three
Individual Routine
All participants will be given 90 seconds to perform their own routine for the audience. Routines may include traditional competition posing, dance routines, athletic displays, or the like. All routines must be family-friendly. Participants may choose their own music for their routine or use the house music. All music selections must be appropriate. No excessive vulgar language is allowed. If your song contains this type of language, the non-explicit version must be used.
Judging:

At this time, we are not judging the Transformation division. All transformation journeys are different, but are all worth celebrating. This is a time for participants to showcase his/her accomplishments, and to inspire others who may be struggling to start their own journey of health and fitness.
